ReNEW is a just-launched website for experienced workers who’ve been laid off or who want to change careers. It’s free and user-friendly with sections on finding jobs in the expanding green economy as well as general information on wages, outlook, and current openings in Illinois. Everyone in the job market—but particularly the long-term unemployed—can benefit from the Jobseeker Success Mindset Training course.  This training helps to reframe the situation and to understand employer expectations throughout the hiring process. 

Meet Lola Lucas and Jeff Garton in the webinar to learn more.  The webinar is for workforce professionals and individuals who are interested in this topic.  Topics to be covered will include:  Using the Illinois Career Information System's ReNEW, a quick introduction to Find Your Green Job,  and how to apply the Jobseeker Success Mindset Training.  The Career Information system (CIS) and ReNEW are produced by the Illinois Department of Employment Security.
